A Little Faith

Faith in her bouncer...do you think she likes it???

She's sooo funny!

~xoxo~

Time to baby proof!

She LOVES her puppy and he LOVES her.

Sweet Pea is growing so fast, one minute she is barely rolling over and the next she is knocking over vases.

She had a great first Thanksgiving. I made her some smashed yams.

And she took a nap on Daddy...

She went with Grandma & Grandpa to chop down their Christmas tree...

She is just getting cuter and cuter...if that's even possible?

Her brothers already spoil her rotten!
She lights up whenever they walk in the room.

Wishing Everyone a VERY Merry Christmas!!! Can't wait to share pictures of our Christmas Day.

Be safe!

First Halloween

Halloween has come and gone, and was oh so much fun!!
Gavin was a creepy clown, Robbie was a ghost, and Faith was a cutie scarecrow. (Gage was with his new girlfriend)

Crazy to think that a year ago we were just finding out that we were blessed to be pregnant! And now we have a sweet pea smiling and learning!

Not much has changed this last month other than her getting stronger. She is still only rolling from her stomach to her back. I am not pushing it too much, just enjoying her wanting to cuddle and NEED me for the moment.
She has tried her first solid food, PRUNES! Not gonna lie, she isn't too fond of them ;)

I am excited for Christmas this year, and seeing the look of excitement on her face over the lights and wrapping paper!

Here are a few pictures of the last few months

and the littlest one said...roll over

It has started...the first step on the road to Independence.

It is both a joyful and scary feeling all in one.

Maybe it is because Gage is only 2 1/2 years from being a senior and I am feeling it, maybe it is because Faith is the last baby, maybe it is because I am getting older, maybe it is because I am the biggest sap, maybe it is because she is a girl, all I know is I am sucking in every second of what she does...and not wanting her to grow up as fast as my little boys did.

Hope the video makes you smile as much as I did. Enjoy!!!

68 days

68 Days Old
10lbs & 22 3/4" long

Like a flower blooming, Faith has made changes both physically and developmentally in just 68 days.
SMiLES
Coos
Scooting
Sleeping 9pm-4:30am (most days)
Lost some hair, and growing some back
She thinks daddy is playtime, and mommy is feeding and sleeping time
She loves her mobile, and playmat
We changed her formula to an added rice starch to help with Acid Reflux
Just like a girl she is happy as a clam one second, and madder than a hornet the next
We are still in awe at how blessed we are to have her in our life...healthy & happy

Time is going by too fast.....

one month old

It's hard to believe that it has been a month since our little sweetie pie was born!!

Faith had her 1 month check up today....weighing in at 8lbs 10oz making that a weight gain of 2lbs and 8oz!! Yes, she eats all day and all night!

Everything is going great, she is holding her head up longer, starting to focus on things more, and smiling a little. She is sleeping in 4 hour intervals at night, and random short naps during the day. She absolutely loves her brothers, and they love her. They started school this week, and they come in wanting to hold her first thing. The boys are showing a lot more interest than I ever thought they would, it warms my heart.

We had a busy last couple of weeks with my BFF Jen and her family staying here, the some family from Texas were visiting...so Faith got a lot of holding and loving.

Not much more to tell, she gets cuter and cuter everyday (i know, i know...how can she get any cuter?) but then again I am a little biased.

All dressed up for the DR.

 Drs appts are exhausting

2 week check up

Little Faith had her two week check up today! Everything is perfect! She now weighs 6lbs 10oz, which means that she gained 8oz.

She is such a strong newborn, already rolling to her side...and lifting her head. We are enjoying the little smiles (even if it is just gas).

Nightly feedings haven't been too bad, she is waking every 4 hours and usualllllyyyyyy falls asleep right away. We have had a couple of fussy nights, but oh so worth it!

Chris goes back to work after a 2 week paternity leave. Neither of us are ready for him to go, but we have to pay the bills.

Faith had an exciting weekend last weekend, as we visited her great-grandma down in Conejos. She didn't get to spend much time enjoying the outdoors due to mosquitoes and hot weather. BUT we were on a brown bear watch. The drought down there has brought them off of the mountain hungry and thirsty. While we were there we took the opportunity to take some pictures. Here is a sneak preview.

Hello World 7/8/11

July 8th, 2011 @ 9:21 pm
Weight: 6lb 2oz Length: 20in.
Sky Ridge Hospital Lonetree, CO.

Friday July 8, 2011 my water broke around 8:00am. After calling the Dr.s office and showering Chris and I headed to the hospital. My Mom and Mamie met us there (excited).
We got checked in and did a "hurry up and wait" finally they wheeled us into a triage room around 10am where we waited...and waited because they wanted to "make sure" that my water broke (with out going into TMI details...trust me we KNEW). Finally after the nurse checked and realized I wasn't wrong they got me to a delivery room, in which we find out I hadn't dialated any from my last appt.

Well we walked around hoping to help things along and decided to start some medication because we weren't making any progress by 1pm. For any woman that has ever had pitocin you know that the contractions are very strong and very painful. So around 4pm I couldn't take it anymore and got an epidural. Now I wish that I wouldn't have waited so long, I instantly felt better. We checked again around 7pm and I was at 5cm (this is where they put oxygen on me because Faith's heart dropped with every contraction), whoopie we are doing SOMETHING.
An action shot for ya =)

Everyone made predictions on what time we thought she would come....Dr predicted 9:30pm. Around 8:30 I started feeling pressure, and was at 8cm!! The next 30 min are a blur. Dr. and nurse getting things ready. I started pushing around 9, her cord was wrapped around her neck so that took a minute and before we knew it....there she was!! It was amazing. My Dr was amazing, my nurse was amazing. It seemed almost relaxing. After we were both cleaned up the boys were the first to come in and hold her, that was a favorite moment!!

Gage 15yrs & Faith 30mins
Robbie 10yrs & Faith 30 mins.
